Then acupuncture can help you!  I have experience in helping women with periods issues, fertility and peri-menopause related symptoms as well as aching bodies.  I practise both Traditional Acupuncture and Five Element Acupuncture, these are both health systems that date back over 2000 years using very fine needles inserted into points on the body that can help bring you back into balance.

Why Yoga?

Does your body feel tired and stiff and ache by the end of the day?

Is your mind constantly on the go and you find it hard to relax and sleep?

Perhaps you’ve considered coming to a yoga class but think that you need a flexible body to be able to join in.

Coming to class is all about taking some time for you, for you to move your body, switch from your thoughts and to-do lists and be in the here and now.  My classes are supportive and nurturing with modifications given for all the postures to suit every body in the class.


I first joined Maxine’s classes six years ago and I would not hesitate to recommend this class as Maxine has a lovely calm manner and is very encouraging to all abilities. If you want to feel relaxed, stretched and are keen to keep your body supple then come and join us. We are a friendly bunch of mixed ages and abilities and I always look forward to Thursday mornings!

I have found acupuncture really useful and enjoyable, it has helped me with my anxiety and I generally feel more relaxed and balanced. I have also found that acupuncture has helped my digestive issues and also made my skin clearer as I have had an ongoing problem with acne.  Maxine is so friendly and considerate and I would highly recommend her.

I very much enjoy Maxine’s live online and recorded yoga and relaxation classes and the 30 minute mini sessions are great.  Maxine’s classes are always thoughtfully planned and follow themes such as seasons and energy pathways that help me practice and improve my yoga holistically.
